LGS has .45 1911 Remington R1S on consignment for
$475. It's in very good shape...no marks, minimum wear, very nice trigger, wood grips are pretty pristine, and no rattle or looseness. (Anything else to be aware of on these besides the usdual?)
Anyone familiar with the gun?
Internet reviews are pretty positive but if anyone has personal experience I'd appreciate hearing about it.
My eldest "borrowed" my 1911 two years ago. I think I should have at least one in the safe. (It won't be for carry or home protection per se, it'll be a range gun and because what kind of a safe would it be without a 1911 in it?)
(I was going to pass as I have a Sig 220, a Smith 745 and 4566TSW and how much more .45 does one need. But then I thought...but it's a 1911, I "ought" to have one.)
