I've been looking for a really nice MK or K Elite series gun and ran across these on a major site for sale.

The dealer had seven of Frank Harris' personal Kahrs he says he bought directly from Mr Harris. I've always wanted a few full custom guns, and Wilson Combat, C&S, etc were at the top of my list.

The ones here are a Cylinder & Slide Package 3 P9 and a Package 2 P40.
The serial number born on dates are approximately 2006. They both have bright night sights. They both have polished triggers and actions, beveled mag wells and mag release cutouts, crowned muzzles, and the P40 has a slight carry bevel on some parts.
The best part is they were each less than the cost of just the factory gun, and they included holsters and other accessories!

The P9 is especially smooth and beautiful. I love its polished flats, beveled edges, slide top serrations, 360° frame stippling and the trigger is so much smoother than factory (if that's possible).

Here's a link to C&S site describing each level of work they offer:
Kahr Arms - Models P9, P40, PM9, PM40, TP9, CW9, P45, PM45, TP45 PACKAGES - Cylinder & Slide - Handguns parts and accessories

The dealer still has a C&S Package 3 PM40, a factory K40 Covert, and a K40 with the Black-T finish. I'll post link here if that's OK.

I had 4 kahrs , three are still in the family and I still have one . hand surgery caused me to carry a shorter and lighter trigger in a wider grip after 2 hand surgery's but I kept a ct45 I can finally shoot again after 4 years but still with limits and the CT45 is set up to run with 1911 mags .

If what you want is a lighter trigger buy a wolff springs reduced striker spring that will lower the pull weight 1lb but claims of smoother ?? kahrs are very smooth as as they are and only get better with use .

If you have mag drop issues its more about some mag release tuning that can be done by the owner . I carried a TP40 for 7 years mainly with 1260fps 155gr hand loads and underwood 1321fps 155gr gd for carry . The chambers are tight but cycle reliably with good ammo . Many kahr owners know some ammo is not as up to quality spec more so with cheaper plinker practice ammo biut that fodder runs in a glock ok !! . Consider kahrs chambers to be very well supported match grade tight , accuracy is typically better than many carry handguns can provide assuming the shooter than handle the longer smooth trigger pull.

MY tp40 is carried by a son in law now and rounds fired is over 12,000 . A kahr cw9 has 17,400 rounds fired and is our oldest daughters daily carry and a cm9 now is our youngest daughters carry . None of these kahrs ever gave a single issue starting with round 1 . MY CT45 after checking with Kahrs CS and engineer to see if it was safe with 45 super was taken to alaska for a fishing trip filled with 45 super ammo .

Upgrades are nice , Just be careful what your really getting for the higher price is not just only window dressing when the firearms can be very good when stock .

I agree they're great out of the box! I've carried a K9, P9 or PM9 since 1998, and have added a P380 to the stable.

I would NEVER spend the money for what C&S charges... I'd spend the extra $$ on ammo, training, holsters. But buying the gun WITH the custom work for less than the new gun itself is right up my alley! I like knowing they're lightly used and who the original owner was as well.
