This Haenel KK Sport came from a local Estate in .22 LR. Barrel date is 838, August 1938. Wasn’t sure what the value was, Andyd offered some help. Thanks Andy. It’s a complete rifle with the rare original peep sight, the more common seen rear sight and the palm support. The gun would rate excellent condition except for the newer butt plate. Has some nice wood also, not sure if it has the original finish.

Shot it at 50ft which is the distance of the club indoor range. It will be used mainly offhand. Happy so far with accuracy shooting off a crude shooting bench sitting on a seat. CCI Standard, Blazer and SK Standard were used so far. The barrel has a 15mm dovetail from the factory, yep I put a scope on it. Using a Simmons 4x right now.

Also picked up another 12/15 Martini with the barrel cut to 21”, will post a couple pics tomorrow. Happy camper right now, adding both to the collection, Larry

Let me see now. We got the roller family - daddy roller, mama roller, and itty bitty baby roller - 45-70 Pedersoli, a 7x57 Mexican Remington and a number 4 Remington 22.

Then we got the Ithaca 49, 22 Martini action.

A Husqvarna 22 bolt. A Brno garden gun 22 bolt.

Those are the only ones I have pictures of. I guess I need to take pictures of my two #1s (45/70 & 223), my two Sharps and my Trapdoor. Those last three are all Italian repros, and all 45/70.

Here is the Martini 12/15, will shoot it tomorrow for the first time. Bought it from Simpson Ltd because of the scope mount someone added. Barrel cut to 21” and the wood is not bad. Have another with a 20” barrel with peep sights. I made the full length forend. Which one shoots better at 50’ I’ll keep and sell the other.

The other is a Custom Ruger NO1 in 32-20, a great find. Love .32 caliber guns. Very accurate rifle, a joy to shoot. Larry

1 2005 Winchester 1885 (Low Wall) in 38-55

1 Shiloe Sharpe's 1874 ca 1974 in 45-70

2 or 3 junk 22's

Ivan

Took the Haenel with a scope and here is the target at 50’ with 3 ammo’s.

Also have a Martini made by Al Freeland with an Eric Johnson barrel. Added the Lyman Super Target Spot after I got the gun. It’s number 11 of the 21 Target Rifles made by Freeland in 1950ish. Larry

I have (but selling) this Germanic Martini, 22 LR.

Also my Mississippi Trapdoor, my Springfield Single Shot Rifle, and this Springfield Model 1922.

The Springfield Model 1922 started out as a magazine fed 22 LR but has been converted to 22 Hornet, single shot.

Kevin

(Sorry, image of the 1873 Springfield has gone missing.)

A Rolling Block #4 (PLEASE NOTE: ACTUALLY A #5 as TIMETRIPPER was so kind to point out:o) in 7mm SM and an Anschutz (54 or 64?) in 22 rimfire, of course.

Cheers!

P.S. The genuine Remington bayonet (long military version with scabbard) is pretty awesome!

That's a #5 rolling block, which is the smokeless version of the older #1 actions.
I have one that I had customized into a 38-55 sporter.
My other single shots at present include:
44 Stevens 32-20
44 1/2 Stevens 32-40
Original 1885 low wall. 22 long
Original 1885 hi wall 45-70
1888 model trapdoor springfield with the ramrod bayonet
A #3 Ballard 22 long rifle
A Martini Cadet that has been converted to the old 35/30-30 wildcat

Pendersoli Sharps rifles in 45-70

The two Stevens are the most accurate of the bunch, with cast bullets.

John

My single shot rifles are by a long shot my favorites.

And they get the most range time by far. I may post up pictures tomorrow of some of my other single shots
