Glock 17L, odd serial number

I recently saw a (presumably) NOS G17L with a serial number with digits at the front and GEN1 as a suffix. Tried an online search including the Glock forum and did not find any posts referencing this. Any assistance appreciated.
 
These are new production using the retro Gen 1 frame and a Gen3 slide/barrel/internals from what I understand. Supposedly a run of 2000 for Lipseys. They have been selling at a discount recently.
 
LVSteve, I don't have a 17L, but did chronograph the M1152 in a 5.3" G34. It averaged 1389 FPS. Wouldn't be surprised if a 6" 17L produced 1400 FPS or so..
 
17Ls are definitely fun to shoot! Mine's an early Gen 1. I believe it was unfired when I got it (it had been in storage for decades). If I had known better, I would have left it that way. They actually are worth something now. Oh, well...
