Speed loaders

Does it have a holster?? I cant find one on the cops site.

That is another problem.
Safariland Comp III's can't be used legally in officially sanctioned IDPA matches.
Well, you can use them, and they will score you, but it isn't an official time.

I've shot IDPA matches before with non-sanctioned equipment and guns and had just as much fun- even if my time wasn't put on the board. I shot a full shoot once with a Savage .32 and had a blast- mostly from the whoops and hollers and jeers from the other competitors.:p

Smith_Crazy posted a nice link to Jerry Miculeks
Pistol trainng vids on the S&W site.

Here is the link to the Reloading video for revolvers
with moonclips, HKS & Safariland Comp II's.

Check it out.

Cool

I am just going to do it for fun too but I my competitive side might win out in the end and I will have fun and compete :p

I am gonna watch that video too. thanks a bunch:D

I use the HKS...when I use them at all. They seem to work and they are available.

For every day carry, I use a Bianchi speed strip in the weak side hip pocket.

"Safariland Comp III's can't be used legally in officially sanctioned IDPA matches"

That information is outdated as of the April 15, 2005 IDPA rule book.
Safariland Comp III speedloaders are shown in the lower left photograph marked "Legal" on page 38 of the current IDPA rule book.
The are shown neatly nestled into the double Blade Tech kydex open-top speed loader pouch. I have used them in state IDPA championships in OK, TX, MO, and TN.

I stand happily corrected. :D
See what happens when you don't:

  • Have "officially" sanctioned IDPA matches and have "defensive pistol" matches instead at the range
  • Don't read the book, like me. :o
  • When you don't get out to other ranges more.
