They can only give you exact dates on more recently manufactured guns with multiple letter prefixes. On older guns, the Std. Catalog will give you an approximate year. If you are an SWCA member, Roy Jinks can give you a month and year in short order. If you are willing to pay $50 for a factory letter and wait a month or so, an exact date and "to whom shipped" can be secured.

There are some absolutely fabulous shots (sorry about that!) of some absolutely fabulous snubbies in this thread. I can't even single out any particular snubby, they all look great. I had major gun envy prior to recently joining this forum, and now it is starting to get out of control. Hubby and I went to Cabela's last weekend and I spent most of my time in the gun dept. Whatever happened to me just hanging out in the ladies clothing dept? Guess the .500 S & W models in the display case were much more enticing than some matching jacket and scarf!
