What Car Did You First Learn to Drive

My dad tried to teach me to shift gears with a 53 Plymouth. However, I first started driving a 57 Chevy,

Yes I remember the Henry J.
A man parked his 39 Chevy coupe in our back yard and rode to the plant with my Dad, the keys were in it, I'm sure he meant for a 13 year old kid to learn to drive it in case of an emergency.

My brothers "55" black and red Mercury. I was 15 years old and he taught me not to over steer. Those were the days..............we thought they'd never end......
 
1959 Skyliner... convertable hard top..... 312 V8 with 3 on the tree.... Wish I still had it, it would be worth a few $$$$

I was 12 years old down at the farm and it was a 1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A My Dad kept telling me to throw out the clutch.
 
learned on the 53 chevy but first car was a 53 plymouth belvedere, 2 dr hardtop, 3 spd with overdrive, that was in 1959. cost me $ 250.00
 
My Dad owned a Chevy dealorship, and it seems he brought something different home every day. So, I guess I learned to drive with the 1953 thru 1955 Chevy fleet.
 
1941 Hudson Commodore.The road was 1/2 mile from the barn,so only half the miles I put on it showed up on the odometer.did a lot of back and forth with that old tank.
