Hi everyone, my question is regaurding loading the magazine of my .45 after I have chambered a round from the Magizine. If I follow the S&W instructions this is the proper loading technic to have 10+1 in the gun. However after chambering a round and dropping the magazine I can easily load the mag with 9 rounds back into the gun but if I try to load with ten it seems to not want to go easily. It's almost as if I'm forcing the magazine up. Any comments? I do have the mag safty and manual safty.

It takes somewhat more effort to insert the full mag, but should not require a sledge hammer...:D

push or slap the bottom of mag it should go in
i would try this at range(you can get some feeding problems when gun or mag is new) the mag spring is so strong that you should get the mags full and store them like that for a week or two then it should get easier

I have a hard time topping off either of my M&P's. It's even hard to insert a full mag if the slide is closed. I just insert the full mag with the slide open, let it close and chamber a round then I'm done. I don't worry about topping it off.
