I don't normaly just because the shoulder is what aligns the suppressor to the barrel.. by placing anything in between those mating surfaces you increase the chances of a baffle strike... but I'm sure some one will say they have been using one for years with a crush wash because it helps it from backing off... its your can id call the manuf. and ask them what they recommend
The suppressor contacts straight to the barrel for best alignment

The washer could cause a buffle strike.
I don't use a crush washer because YHM says it will void the warranty if I do and that's good enough for me!
