second range session

2nd time at the range, didn't have much time, shot 275 rds- 100 rds CCI mini mags, 135 rds Federal bulk,40 rds Federal American Eagle.Again not a single problem. Have shot 500 rds total so far. Been using the standard iron sights, good accuracy at 25 yds. About to put a Bushnell TRS 25 red dot on. They are on sale at Cabelas for $79.95

I hope the second day at the range is as fun as the first. I think im going tomorrow for the second time. Still using iron sights but planning on a scope and red dot for xmas.
What has been your grouping at 25yds with the iron sights?

that's not a bad price for the bushnell micro red dot!

glad the 2nd range session went well!

i found that shooting with a red dot scope was more precise for me, but most of that is probably my general unfamiliarity with the A2 sight picture.
