M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

I bought a TruGlo 30mm for my 15-22,does any one kno which height riser works best, currently using iron sights, but have mbus folding ones on order..??

When stopping at walmart this poor neglected red dot followed me home! It was the last one on the rack, and $50 for a scope I have been looking for for a very long time was pretty reasonable, plus it came with scope covers. Link to scope

The stock sights were too low any ways, and so was the scope, but I picked up a riser at the local gunshop, and all was fixed! It is supposed to be 0 degrees tomorrow for a high, so I am definitely making sure I preload all my 3 magazines for sight-in tomorrow!

Doc, to answer your question; I couldn't find any for really cheap, I ended up spending $31 for mine (yea, over half what I paid for the scope, for 2 hunks of metal and 2 screws).

I'm also interested in a new stick how do you know what one will fit

(i want the modification to get rid of the loose ill-fitting stock)......

I find that to be a rather pejorative statement. To say it is "loose" is one thing but to say it is "ill fitting" is to suggest that it is a bad execution of a design that is supposed to be tight which it is not.

Ok, finally getting around to posting my pics. I just added the Magpul foregrip and then my father got me another foregrip that has the bipod inside, a Tasco 3x9 scope, & some extra clips.

took everything apart, cleaned everything (de-natured alcohol), taped off the interiors. spent some time carefully spraying krylon fusion camo paint (black, green, brown). turned out pretty good.

How is it that I see some people with shorter rails and barrels, did they come like that or are you guys cuttings down the rails and getting a new barrel? Of course I couldn't do this to my rifle (barrel length) cause of New York's laws, but I would cut my rail and get a mock silencer shroud thingy lol

Latest configuration! (Subject to change without notice) :)

Hey,Brett

What is that block called under your front sight and what brand is it.Looks kind of like a gas block.I been looking for a piece like that for my M&P15.Does it just clamp to the barrel? Thanks for your time!

JCKoLnturn- so its more aerodynamic :-) (really just threw it on for the pic so i didnt have just a flat rail across the top.

U.S. Beast, Cut down my handguard and barrel. All approved and legal. (gotta love Arizona)

Yeah thats definitely a good look and nice, I would love a shorter barrel but only when I move out of state lol

..........and yes scope is kinda a overkill, but its great for spotting and its pretty accurate at long distance with the good ammo. Glad to be a part of a great website with some nice hardware.

hey fifth, welcome and nice rifle, yeah I hear ya on spotting while shooting, its a pain shooting open sights for with 2x mag at 50 or 100 yards and having to figure where your shots are landing lol

My new 15-22

Hey guys, my first post here. Thought I'd show off a little. Here's my little Smith- MOE version. I'm running a cheap UTG VG, rail covers and bipod. The bipod isn't always on there. That's a Spike's fake can on there. I just installed an Aimpoint clone. Love this little gun, shoots great and she's a real head turner :)
