The UK allows Assault Rifles?

The last I knew, they were looking at banning butter knives.

Things have certainly changed sine I lived there, but it has been over 20 years ago...

yeah but its not easy getting a gun licence and full autos as well as hand guns are banned.

its not as bad in England as some states in the US though at least we can have 25 round mags here hehe

Here is a pic of mine, thats not me in the pic its the guy i bought it off.

Are all guns more expensive? Or is that just because it's an import? Do they use price as a way to discourage people from getting there gun license?

Painterly: It's the same in the whole of Europe.

Here in Holland the rifle, fixed stock, costs between €600 - €650

CCI minimag costs around €40 to €45 (per 100)

And the cops come by every 6 months to check if you keep your guns (max 5) nicely locked up in a safe and your ammo in a seperate safe.

But steve, congratz and be sure to post some pictures when you get it.
You guys have no idea how easy you have it

its not as bad as that in the UK, ammo is cheap you can pick up second hand rimfires pretty cheap but depends what gun your getting most new guns cost double what they would in the states
here we can have adjustable stocks, 25 round mags and the police prefer if you use a silencer so its more relaxed that allot of states in the US
also once they checked you have a gun safe on your first interview you never have the police coming to your house again

i think its mainly to do with all the sky high import taxes on items of this nature more than anything so then the dealers here have to bump the price right up to make it worth while
