I have a Model 66-1, 2 1/2 inch, which I bought some time ago without any grips. I have another identical NIB so I am not looking for factory original.

I would like to carry this "no-grip 66", which has been fired but is in fine condition, so I am wide open. I need something that will go with a fine tooled leather holster, not full blown Bar-B-Que, but a rig to be proud of.

Let me see what you have on yours.

Many thanks,

Well, its not a snubby, but I recently put Ahrends smooth tacticals on my 6" M66-2, and I think they feel great!

They are not very bulky at all, but I think they would be hard to conceal for a carry gun.

I have a nickel 19 with factory combats, I've always liked them on carry guns...

... the 66-1 still wears factory magnas.

How about an actual 66-1, 2 1/2"? While not near as sexy as some that have been posted, the Compacs feel great on this gun, for me, and that contributes to accuracy. I know some would complain about the 'stickyness" of the rubber grips on your shirt, but when they are this old they don't stick anymore. The Magnas are the original stocks, serial numbered to the gun, which I bought new in the late 70's.

It has been said before, but "how about a 19". Nickel, with rosewood grips.

I like these Pachmayr's on my 66 no dash 2 1/2". They soak up recoil like a sponge and make for fast shooting, even with hot 125gr loads.

Just wondering what kind of grips these are? I have a nice 2.5" 66 that needs new stocks. I really love the feel of the Pachmayer compacs, but I want the look of some nice wood for bragging purposes.

I have the same ones on my 2.5" M19. I'll vouch for their goodness. But they are for shooting, not for looking at, so you may not get a lot more agreement on here.

Will a 2.5" 66-no dash do?

Best 66 photo ever! I have the same gun (no-dash) with magnas (checkered) but I can't find the dang T-Grip like yours. I swap out the magnas for a set of Ahrend's retro combats. Don't have any photos on my phone though.

Nice grips guys! Really love them Spegals but they all look beautiful. Cirrus that is a keeper of a pic on your 66-2. Gotta beak out the camera and take fresh pics of my 3 K frame snubbies with their different shoes when my stags for my nickel 19 arrive. Sure could use a polished Tyler for it but either miss em or won't pay the crazy prices they're fetching.
