Just picked up a 13-2!

Just bought a minty model 13-2.

Fixed sight K frame service revolver are amongst my favorites. Model 10's and 64"s and especially the .357 magnum model 13 and 65's. Anyone else love these little gems?

I do, too. I've got the 10, 12 and 64. Looks like a 13 is going to have to be next.

You guys posting these nice pics of the 13s and 65s are making me want one. But I really ought to pick up a model 10 first. I`ve been putting off the model 10 for years thinking "I can get one of those anytime" but the prices on model 10s have been going up lately.
Probably better stop putting it off before they get up too high in price.
Have a local gunshow coming up in 3 weeks, maybe I can bag one there.

I love my Model 65-3s (one 3" and one 4").

The model 65 is on my short list. I have a 4" nickel 13 in addition to this 13-2. So a 4" stainless version would complete the collection in that regards. I really would like to find some 3" versions but they are a tough find, I don't like buying guns online sight unseen.

I've got a 10 and a 65 both in 4" HB. I've got a 19 in 4" HB and a 66 in 2 1/2"... A 13 and a 64 are HIGH on my want list right now!!! Both of course in 4".

Best shooting guns ever made in my opinion. I love the K frames!

I've got 3-inch versions of the 64-7 and 65-6 (the 64 with the infamous internal lock). Bought new and I had to order them. I have 13-3 in 3-inch and nickeled that I picked up used - it's in very good condition. Yes, I love the fixed sight K-frames.
I would love to have 4-inch versions of the model 10 and 64, but I just don't see any in my part of the country. I'm a bit leary to try and order new versions - not sure about the lock or the barrel construction.
I remember when these were stacked high and deep in the 1980's, but I was to smart to know what I was looking at and passed on them all. Now, it hurts to remember what I could have had so easily!

My last personal carry gun before we went issue only was a model 13. I loved it and still carried it off duty.
