I finally fired my first shot at a shooting range today lol. The M&P 15-22 is my first gun and a lot of people in the range were asking on what rifle it is. I used cci high velocity ammo and I had 2 ammo's stocked out of 100. I wish i had more ammo's cause shooting the m&p feels nice and addictive.

I didn't go crazy on the target cause as i said its my first time shooting
This was at 20 yards

Welcome to the forum. Good shooting for a 1st timer. Keep it up. Bulk ammo can be purchased on line at a lot places. I can't mention any by name but just do a search for Bulk ammo and many will poop up. You can also get "bricks" of 500 rounds at several larger gun stores and even discount stores like XXXXmart.

PHTF. I'm ready. It just "depends" on the situation.

Sorry, it's been a long day.:p

I think I'm ready as far as ammo goes.

Good night folks!

Please list your address for when the zombies arrive.

Congrats on the new 15-22! Not bad shooting for a first timer. Before the 15-22, I primarily shot handguns. It was definitely a different experience. You did better your first time out than I did.

Practice...practice...& more practice....

Beware. A 15-22 usually leads to a 15-Sport. :D

right on man welcome to the sickness. I recomend becoming proficient with the iron sights before moving to an optic of some sort, but its your monkey do what makes you happy.

p.s. if you don't post a picture of your new rifle, it doesn't exist. lets see a picture of your new baby

lol, ill post pics when i get off work later, i tried using a 4x32 scope and i sucked big time i tried zeroing it in the range and its not easy as it looks like on youtube lol.

Bore sighting is to get it close. Then you shoot it to dial it in the rest of the way. If you just mount a scope and start shooting. You could be way off even at fairly close range, and could be hard to know where you are hitting to adjust.
