J-frames are for the pocket or for the ankle in my mind.

A 642-1 in a plain old Number 3 Uncle Mike's pocket holster. I've now discovered carrying my Interarms PPK in a Blackhawk! Number 2 pocket holster that is printed with "U.S.A." on the tag. The Uncle Mike's was made in Vietnam. Guess which one may hit the garbage before too long.

That looks like a good option. I bought one of those holsters for a snub Model 66 a few years ago and it didn't fit worth a flip (way too tight).

Yes, and it seems to work well for me.

I only use IWB and pocket holsters at this point, and the vast majority of the time I use my IWBs cross-draw instead of strong side. I don't know why, other than that's just somehow what I got used to. Also, in my case they seem to conceal better that way.

I have the Mr. Softy for several guns. The only one I don't like is for the J Frame

Mine was too small in the trigger guard area, not allowing the J to go fully into the holster. Hope yours is better. Let us know!

For belt carry a Don Hume Jit Slide. For Pocket carry an Uncle Mikes. I didn't like the Nemisis.

Your comment about the fit makes me wonder if maybe the holster was different than the model number on the package?
I've had 3-4 of the Bianchi's and use one daily. While fairly tight at the beginning I find they will loosen up after a few weeks of carry.

For pocket carry, generally a DeSantis Nemesis (size N3) . . . but sometimes the Uncle Mike's Size 3 . . . all depending on the shape of the front pocket.

Both are cheap and neither will hold moisture like a leather holster in a pocket.

For belt carry, the leather "UPL" (Upper Limit) by Mitch Rosen. I bought it used on this forum. What an incredible fit and finish the Rosen has.

I've also got a Kramer IWB but it doesn't "like" my body shape . . . now if I'll just get rid of that "inner tube" around my waist I can wear that IWB just fine! LOL
