Hope everyone is set on magazines

Glad I went ahead and juggled things to order a couple more S&W 25 rounders and a couple BX-25s yesterday instead of waiting until today.

Interestingly enough, the LGS/indoor range I'm a member at had a fair number of Pmags of several varieties, a bunch of the BX-25s, and a few Glock mags left when I swung by to shoot last night, their AR and AK stock was definitely thinning out a lot from last week though. Was going to go ahead and grab a couple of the Ruger and Glock mags but the power went out while I was waiting for a salesperson to free up.

Guess I got lucky, my local shop had 10 in stock.
I bought 3 to compliment the 3 that I already have.
He could have raised his prices, but he didnt. They were still $16.
In the 15 min I was in there, they had to fielded at least 10 phone calls from folks wanting AR mags.Which he had none, but the employes were getting a bit torked with all the phone calls.

35-Round Mags

I ordered two 35-round mags (yes, THIRTY FIVE round) for my 15-22 Thursday from Plinker Tactical and received them today via UPS. Apparently the only products the company sells are accessories for the M&P 15-22. After two of my regular online dealers were out of stock in 25-round mags, I found Plinker in a Google search. I had never heard of them before.

After checking the internet, zero mags out there. Start calling LGS soldout on m&p 15-22 mags. I go pick up my girlsfrom school & a small gun shop that I didn't call was full of cars. Cars park on the street & grass. I stop by tell my girls daddy is going toget more mags for your gun. She was happy.
Waited 15min this was my main LGS but they only have a 25 yrd indoor pistal range. I ask " I know you might not have it, but here it goes. You have M&P 15-22 mags". Yes I have 5 left give me 2. Price was $25

Welcome to the forum. I hope you have good luck with those magazines. I haven't really read anything positive about them yet. YMMV

New member here, just ordered the A1 this week. Seen the coming rush on the 25 round magazines so I got 10 on the way. So now the wait to see what comes in first, the A1 or the magazines. Been reading all of the good information on this form for a while, so I'll be hanging around and asking questions.

Ya do a search on plinker tactical. There might be a reason every other mag anywhere is sold out and those are still in stock.

fwiw, my buddy picked up a 35rd promag (yes I've horror stories about the 223/556 version) and it fed fine at the range yesterday in my PC. Albeit it was only one 4-5 hour day of shooting so far.. but I asked him to bring it so I could try it in my rifle and had no major issues. I had one ftf but it was the first round in the mag, so I suspect it was a little crooked when I pulled the charging handle back.

STILL a bunch of FDE 25 rd'ers online.

I may be wrong, but if I recall correctly the long body 10rd have a pin that blocks the follower to make it a 10rd mag. 44mag still has a ton of these so you could remove the pin and install one of these kits from ebay to make a working 25rd if you really feel the need.

The PT magazines are junk, that's why no one carries them. I hope they work for you; they don't for most of the folks here who have tried them.

Do a forum search on Plinker Tactical magazines.

Desperate? eBay has some 25rd up for auction. Prices are at $40+ and still going.

I just renewed my subscriptions to Maxim and SWAT magazines. I think I will be set for the next year.

Be aware that many mags made during and after the AWB will have a date of manufacture on them and doing so could get you into trouble in many states/locales.
