Have a Dark Blue Hard Plastic ?Hinged Gun Box With S&W Emblem on lower left corner inside made for a Revolver with blue felt weight 2 1/2 lbs what is it worth? any help will be appreciated thanks

I have had and seen a number of these over the years. Some were repainted some weren't. I was told they were either Salesmans samples, or, experimental. The value has been from $150.00 to $300.00.

My experience with these boxes is the same as Don's. However, they don't reach much over $50 on the west coast. According to Roy Jinks, they were an experiment that didn't work out, so they were never used to ship guns and were scrapped. Ed.
