My Senators voted yea

We don't cotton to no "YEAs" round here if'n our senators node what's good for 'em....

The two from Virginia voted for it...No surprise there. Kaine vetoed the bill to do away with the dumb restaurant ban for concealed permit holders when he was Governor. Warner goes along to get along and tries to present himself as a "moderate" but that doesn't fool everybody.

It's striking to me how the introductory summary of this bill stated "To protect Second Amendment rights..."

How can they incorporate a bald-faced lie into the stated purpose of a proposed law? Do they actually believe that no one will actually READ how the bill was written?

On second thought, strike that last question...

John

It's pretty sad the the vote went the way it did and that his Lordship has the whatever, to criticize the vote because it was not what he wanted""
I thought that was the way the whole Govt thing was supposed to work?? "It's a shameful day" and goes on to tell us how they should have voted???

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

My senator has been one of the most reliable people to gauge as to her stand on gun control. But I was devistated when she voted "yes" for this background check bill. It really blindsided me. I thought she had courage, but she knuckled under to pressure from our dear leader.
From now on, my senator, Diane Feinstein, no longer has my vote.

Rubio - Nay
Nelson - Yea:mad:

Pretty predictable. No surprises from "Tool" Nelson. That old git is still riding the shuttle, hasn't done a darn bit of good since. Rubio is the patron saint of Florida, hopefully for a very long time. The rest of the votes were predictable as well, "yea" in the northeast and west coast along with the new "fringe" states, nay in the South. Joe

I saw Warner on tv a couple weeks back saying no one needs more than 10 rds. And Kaine...the next Chuck Schumer wannabe Sheesh'

Sadly both VA senators voted "yea", well I didn't vote for them and definitely not going to in the future...

WVA- One of my senators helped come up with the bill and the other is retiring. The one that is retiring voted in favor of the Nato bill the other day! Both voted yes in this battle.

And what would you expect they are both Dem. Check the list all but 5 dems voted yea. All but 4 Rep voted nea.... Just remember who voted what next election and send a message.... Don't blame me I voted Rep.

Two yeas from Michigan. Not a surprise, we already have a background check in place. In fact, I have never purchased a pistol without a background check!

The enemies of freedom/2A have only suffered a set back, I know, but how sweet it is...Looks like I will make it to my 43rd birthday before becoming a felon after all. That is sweet also
