One of our senators voted to put the bill up for a vote a few days ago. He then received thousands of complaints from his constituants and a ricin letter and voted nay along with our other senator.

I am truly ASHAMED to say that both our Illinois senators, dick durbin and Republican - mark kirk - backed the background checks plan.

those of us from the land of Lincoln, MUST remember this during the next voting opportunity.

I APPLAUD the efforts of the NRA.

Join, Support and Contribute to the NRA!!! There IS strength in numbers!!!

No and no. Tennessee.

However, both did vote to end cloture. Without that, this junk would have never seen a vote period. I don't understand the reasoning for that.

Senator Schumer is among the most ardent progressive liberals in the country and junior Senator Gillibrand is not allowed to do anything outside the party playbook.

New York's anti 2A vote was never in doubt.

Illinois- Both yea In Illinois when it comes to our U.S. Senators, The Democrats are communists and the Republicans are socialists. We don't have any Conservatives. And, looking at Illinois, you can all see how well this is working. We could blame the Republicans but there aren't very many.

AL - Both voted no.
Was watching the president's little po'ed speech and he hadn't even finished the part about asking everyone to contact their senators to tell them how disappointed you were and I was already looking for the site so I could email and thank mine for their votes.

WVA- One of my senators helped come up with the bill and the other is retiring. The one that is retiring voted in favor of the Nato bill the other day! Both voted yes in this battle.

They voted correctly in Arkansas - NO!

Still don't trust one of them, but yesterday he got it right.
