I just got my 10 today. Number 649. Have added the MagPul grip, midlength handguards, ACS stock, and a Leupold VXR Zombie scope w/single piece Leupold scope mount. Took everything apart and cleaned/lubed and put one of my 20 round Magpuls in to see how it feels/weight distribution. Just before the insanity started, I bought 20 Magpul 20 round mags and loaded 1000 308s with 150 Hornady. As I look at it now I think I will take the Flash Supp. off and replace with one of my vltor 308 FS. The Smith one just seems way too big for what this gun needs. Any opinons of any mistakes I have made or changes. Thanks

I think you should not be using pmags: you should send them all to me for proper disposal

Congrats! Did you have any trouble getting the Magpul hand guards on? If yes, what did you do?

10, I might just have to get rid of the mags. The Communist Party Of Minnesota has taken over. They want to rules of NY, CT, Cali. But I think I will wait until they do. Thanks
TX, the Midlength would not fit without fitting. On the delta ring end the two small pegs at the 1 and 11 oclock needed to be minimized just a bit. I used a dremel with small grinding tool and it worked perfectly and is a very tight/nice fit. I think they look real nice and will work until Troy and others make parts more available.
I hope to shoot the 10 at some point, but we are having the winter from hell in Minnesota. Several more inches of snow on the way most of the week.
The gun club I shoot at has a brand new facility with a 100 and 200 yard range. Nothing is accessable because of the snow, but I am ready to start enjoying the 10 as much as possible.

Thanks for the reply. I've posted in several threads here about this with no reply from anyone.

Turns out, for me, it DID fit without trimming. There is no way I could have got them on without a delta ring tool however.

TX, I am glad it worked out for you. Its a great mod. I forgot to add the part of the delta ring tool, you absolutely need it for this very tight fit as you now know. I might try shooting mine if the weather is good tomarrow.
