Got a letter in the mail at my old job. I quit back in July 2012..I have an unclaimed check they never issued to me. Called the number on the check, verified my info and having the check mailed to me in 3-5 business days..Today is day #3...

Tough choice between more go fast parts for the Camaro, or buy the handgun I've been waiting for...easy choice this time haha

Hope my LGS has one in stock. Going after the model with thumb safety ..personal preference.

Hope to have it in my hands by Tuesday. Minute my check comes in, cashing it immediately and buying it.

I advise putting some money down to hold the 40C. With a weekend coming it's possible they could all be sold before Tuesday.

A LGS near me has your gun M&P 40c W/thumb safety. forgot the price I was thinking about it rather than a shield because I couldn't find one, but didn't like the thumb safety.

I have a thumb safety on my full size 40 and my 40 Shield, never had an issue with either.

Try Cabela's in Dundee. They're usually stocked pretty well. I can look around the local area here for you if you'd like. Lapeer isn't far from me.

Called a couple more places and all out of stock.

Seen on sportsman outdoor superstore they had a .40c for $479, just needed to find a FFL dealer to accept transfer.. 4/4 places I called will not accept transfer from them. Kinda crappy..so Tuesday when I drive to baycity to pick up new car (well new to me) I plan on looking out there while I am out there....

If I do not find anything by tuesday, Going to to a FFL dealer and just placing my order. I dont want to wait but will have to lol

Hope to someday by back my 15-22..or buy another

I know how you feel. I ended up buying my 40c on GB and it will be delivered to my FFL tomorrow. Then I get to start my lovely 10 day waiting period

There were several good 40C's on GB when I got mine last week.

Going to cancel my order from sportsman tuesday, and just do what I said about placing a special order at a FFL if I dont find one...

Yea I would love more go fast parts but I spent enough on the camaro past 2 years to get it where its at right now..slow lol

Got the check yesterday when I got back into town from car show. It was like Xmas morning when I ripped the envelope open..but cannot cash it until Tuesday haha. Damn work!

Placed my order yesterday. I was getting impatient and decided screw it..I'll buy the 9c..after walked up to the counter..customer bought the last one haha...

So even though I put my order in,still going to be calling shops to see if they have it.

Called 15 places..out of 15..1 had it in stock, but was $625 ()

Want to buy a new one now before I do something stupid and put it towards the Camaro.

Why did it take your old company nearly a year to get that check to you? Their payroll/accounting should have been screaming bloody murder having an outstanding check on the books and looked into why.

But I digress. Enjoy your found money and your new pistol!
