Lol.....youre not gonna win that battle.

When I go over to my g/f's house she usually has the A/C set on like 66 or 68.....so cold you can hang meat in that place.

I always turn it up to a "balmy" 72 and she gets upset.

At my place I usually keep it set at around 74 or 76. Then the cat sleeps on the register...lol

My family like the air conditioner set on between 74 and 76 degrees depends on how hot it is outside.

It`s a big deal at our house. Theresa likes it cold. I like it warmer. We just have a air cooler. When she gets near me It feels like a wood stove.

You cannot win this one. For 30 years my wife had low blood pressure and anything less than 80 degrees gave her frostbite....summer or winter. Now she has gained a few pounds and developed high blood pressure, and anything over 72 is a heat wave. We can pretty much agree on winter thermostat settings, but summer central A/C settings are not so agreeable. It's like walking into a meat cooler.

Maybe you can split the difference and agree to keep it on 77.
Then again you could walk around your house in your undies
and and tell her it's to hot to put clothes on. Mmmmm maybe
the best thing is to just surrender and leave it on 80 and hope
for a early fall.

I keep mine set on ice......they wife and i agree on this.....at least one thing ain't bad. lol

If someone came over to MY house and reset things to THEIR liking I'd be a bit more than upset.

My mom keeps her house HOT - and she's still cold. I wouldn't dream of changing the t-stat to suit me -- Not my house.

My old office was so cold that others would call it the meat locker. I loved it. I have no tolerance for heat. At 60 and sunny, I have the A/C on in the car. If the house is significantly over 65, I am miserable.

My pets like it warm, which is OK in the summer but a little pricier in the winter than I would like. Mind you, in the heatwave last week keeping the temperature in the house DOWN to 79°F was an effort. Vegas, baby.

At one time I liked the house about 68 degrees, but as I've gotten older, my personal thermostat has changed. Whenever I would visit my folks in the past, I would bring a fan with me & move it around the house with me In an attempt to cool off. They keep their house between 79 & 80 degrees. Now when I visit them I'm comfortable at that temperature. Go figure!

Doesn't matter what the temperature is, my wife is either too hot or too cold. In my truck is the worst... Turn down the air, turn up the fan, it's blowing too cold on me, why is it so hot in here... on and on and on. I'm really surprised that the heat & a/c controls and air vent hinges have held up.
