I don't know what's more remarkable, that he's still here or that I'm still here. (never thought either one of us would make it this far) I keep telling my doctors that if I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.

Keith Richards is alive & John Denver's dead. Who saw THAT coming'?

Even more amazing is that The Moody Blues have been rocking more than 50 years and are NOT in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

+10000000000000000

Saw them last year in Tunica, MS and the drummer, Graeme Edge came out to the front of the stage and announced that he had just turned 71. He then danced like he was a young whippersnapper to some fine guitar picking by 65 year old Justin Hayward.

A great band that still rocks, if you ever get a chance to see them play with an orchestra don't miss it.

I saw the Stones a few weeks ago when they were in San Jose. Mick still has the energy.

Michael Phillip Jagger turned 70 this past week. It doesn't seem so long ago that he was strutting like a peacock in this 1968 video:

Lots of our musical idols and influences are getting into septuagenarian range. Rather remarkable ...

He actually wanted to join the Royal Navy. No go.
Them Navy guys have this saying 'Loose lips sink ships.'

With the exception of the Moody Blues and one song by Eric Burden I just don't understand the admiration for the above rockers. I try my best to avoid druggies!

A lot of them have cleaned up and are performing better than ever since they found that the traditional weed-and-speed approach really didn't make them play better. Clapton is a revelation drug-free.

so what if they do drugs or behave badly?
if i like their sound i dont give a rats axe how they live their lives.or end them.
