Pepsi Cola VS. Coco Cola

For me, right now, it is CokeZero. It truthfully depends upon where I am in this country. There is a difference from region-to-region when it comes to Coke and Pepsi.

Surprised at the number of votes for RC Cola. I haven't seen it in years. Didn't think it was still made.

There's a brand of soda here in SE PA area called A-Treat. They make various flavored sodas and their plain ol' Cola is pretty good. Usually cheaper than Coke/Pepsi products too.

Have you ever tried Jarritos Mango soda? Kind of sweet, but if you like mango's, you'll love it.

Jarritos Sangria is my favorite though it is sweet and sticky. I love a cold diet pepsi and can drink a diet coke if there is lemon or lime with it.

I drank coke since I was 15 years old, only coke then diet coke. I never drank water. Now I just had prostate cancer at 62yo it makes me wonder? I drink only water now.

When I was a mechanic I would wash acid off the batteries and clean radiators with coke.

Coke for me...I will add an interesting story I heard from our great Congressman Thomas Foley who for many years was Speaker of the House and also worked as LBJ's aid. He had a million stories about "Mr. President" but the one involving soft drinks that relates to this thread was in regard to his enjoyment of Dr. Pepper. The only soft drink LBJ would drink was Dr. Pepper. One evening they all get on Air Force One and after he gets seated and is comfortable he says to one of his aides "Get me a peppa." The aide goes over to nearby fridge and looks inside, no Dr. Pepper. He goes to another larger fridge and looks inside, no Dr. Pepper. By now there are a couple of aides and a marine corporal all tearing the plane apart looking for a Dr. Pepper, to no avail. The aide goes back to a noticeably peeved LBJ and says "Mr. President I hate to inform you but we don't have any Dr. Pepper on board." Foley said the old man looked up, then looked down, shook his head a little bit and said "Give me the phone." He dials a number and waits, the phone rings, and rings then finally is picked up. LBJ says "This is Lynden, I wanted to tell you that there ain't one G-Damned Dr. Pepper on this plane." From that day on he never ordered another Dr. Pepper and as it turns out the guy he called was a friend of his that owned the company that produced Dr. Pepper, apparantly an old Texas buddy.

I drink Coke, having one now. When I eat at a local Mexican restaurant I always get the one in a glass bottle made in Mexico. They remind me of Cokes of my youth.

They actually sell Pepsi in GA ??
My vote is for Diet Coke (caffiene free when I can find it).

I was pretty upset when Costco got rid of the Coke fountain drinks in their food court and replaced them with Pepsi.
I asked why they would do that, and I was told that Coke failed to submit their bid in the allotted time, and the contract was awarded to Pepsi.
I don't know if all Costco's have changed over or not.
I'm guessing yes.

Switched from Coke to Diet Coke when I was in college 20 yes ago.

I try to drink less, so rarely do we have a 2L at home. I only drink it when I order a combo at a restaurant. Even then, lately I find myself drinking fast food restaurants' tea spiked with lemonade.

I don't mind Pepsi from time to time, but I have been known to order water when a sit-down restaurant serves Pepsi and not Coke.

Apparently, not all fountain machines are created equally. With both Coke and Pepsi, the flavor can really vary from one restaurant to another. Pepsi seems to sway down to Gag Level 1 more often than Coke.

Flavor vs. Flavor, from what I recall, RC wins. I haven't had one in years.

Am I going to have to start another thread entitled "Where are all the Pepsi fans at"

Becaue Pepsi is getting the bubbles kicked out of it.

As it should....it's not the real thing. ;) When was the last time you heard someone order a "Rum & Pepsi"?

I voted Pepsi, but I have to qualify. The only pepsi product I drink is Pepsi Max which I really like. :D
