Apparently the commissioners have more sense then the elected officials in Colorado. Maybe they should run for office.

More good news from Co./ just learned there's a recall for a couple of the bums in office trying to step on their gun rights.
Way to go Co.!!!!

I think a recall petition is appropriate for folks who would do this. This way the voters get to decide and whether the recall is successful or not it costs the anti gun politicians campaign money.

Probably big money will flow into the state to defend these politicians.

Will never happens as the constitution apparently does not allow new states to be formed from existing ones.

You are wrong, check the history of West Virginia, it was a new state created from Virginia:eek:

“New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.”
Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1

I guess it would take an act of Congress... not going to happen

The West Va. petition made it through because congress liked the idea of another state in the union north and disregarded Virginias' objections because they had seceded and didn't really count any more.

Bloomberg and others are pouring in hundreds of thousands of dollars to support the incumbents. Bloomberg alone tossed in $350,000. I detest that man!

And it was the same bunch that said there wasn't any $ available for better security for our schools.
