Hi all,
I just completed a conceal carry lvl 2 course which focused on fundamentals of shooting, drawing, presentation, including speed and accuracy drills. Put a 130 ends downrange as part of the class and some of the funest 130rds I have shot.
I have an 40c with the APEX DCAEK kit already installed and love it, but I noticed something during the class as did the instructor about my trigger control. I have long fingers combined with the long pull of the pistol I tended to roll my finger to get a round off leading to some accuracy issues. Now as the night went on my accuracy improved but I am thinking if I can shorten the pull to break that would help me a bit. At the end of the day I am responsible for every round fired and would like to give myself the best chance of hitting what I am aiming at under a stressful situation.
So my question is, does the Apex AEK kit shorten the pull? Is it worth the money over the abilities of the stock trigger?
Input appreciated!
