M&P letter fill examples

I think the crayon would be nice because then there is no chemicals being used besides gun cleaning stuff. If you want it out, then a toothpick should take it out.

"NON" acetone nail polish remover, odorless mineral spirits, or just plain REM oil takes it off in a flash, no problem on finish.

On applicator, I went to Hobby Lobby and bought like a 10 pack of these little tiny brushes with about a 4" handle for like 2 bucks. Use them and throw them away.

How easy is it to remove? I don't want to have to put anything on the gun that will do anything to the actual finish..

I colored my slide today. I used finger nail polish. I did a base coat of white. Then on the M&P 9c part I put a coat of pink on it. It partly came off, so it was an ombre effect. I then put pink glitter polish on it. It tried to remove the polish on the M&P 9c part and it partly came off. It looked so cool slightly white and glittery I left it. The logo is all white and the side that says Smith and Wesson, etc. I painted it white and did glitter on it. It stands out more than the M&P 9c part. I am very pleased with the results.

FSis done in ultramarine blue. The compact is done in white. Used the Testor's model paint and nail polish remover method. Worked like a charm.

First attempt at coloring my slide

Ok, if I have done everything correctly, there should be 3 images attached. They are of my first attempt at coloring my slide. The logo is done in plain white finger nail polish. The Smith and Wesson, etc. is done with white with a pink glitter overlay and the M&P 9c is all pink glitter. Based on the glitter photo, I need to clean up some of the glitter on the M&P part. lol.

I Don't care for how mine came out. Wish I would have done a better job. How do I post pics from an android phone with tapatalk?

Easy to wipe clean and start over, it takes a few tries sometimes to get it how you want it.

Yes I have heard the same thing. I have heard of using whiteout for the frame.

Here is a tip for you guys. Instead of using a cloth or tag to wipe away excess of paint, take a piece of folded up phonebook paper, put the nail polish remover on it and it will not pull paint out of the grooves like a rag or cloth does....

I done my slide and mags in silver Testors paint out of kit car section at Wal-Mart. Ended up removing from slide as I didn't like it. Loved it in my mags though.

This looks really nice. I may just have to do this. I have 9mm, .40S&W and .45ACP mags. Sometimes they are hard to tell apart.
