My new M&P Bodyguard 380
I picked one up at my local Cabela's on Sunday. I have owned the original bodyguard 380 since 2011 and I never liked the laser. So I never used it after the novelty wore off. Over the years, I had problems with borked firing pin, laser screw backing out and jamming the gun, and failure to reset, but S&W fixed it each time. I got pretty use to the long trigger pull and it did smother over time. When I found the new model at Cabela's listed for 349.00 I took my old bodyguard in to see what type of tread I could get toward the new one. The gave me 200.00 trad in, plus I got a 20.00 promotional discount which put me out the door often tax at 152.00 and change.
The new model still has a long trigger pull, but it does feel s little smother. The M&P marking look good and the gun is very accurate. After a few more boxes go ammo I will see hoe it feels and may install a Galloway Precision rigger kit it it. This is a great pocket gun.
