As I was responding to the lucky purchaser of a Model 16-4, I remembered that we had mentioned beginning a group to serve as a sort of clearing house or sounding board for the lovers of the various 32 caliber handguns, along the lines of the old "44 Associates" of times gone by.

OK, here goes! How about a group, open to all lovers of the 32, from 32 ACP up to the 327 Fed Mag and 32-20, which we could call "The 32 Brotherhood?" We would have no officers, no dues and no regular meetings, and the only requirements for membership would be to own, want, or admire one or more of the 32s and be willing to discuss, describe, brag about or otherwise add information to the general body of the group's knowledge. What do you think?

Good idea, I like it, I'm a 32 fan, been collecting em for awhile now, great all around gun and caliber.

I'm starting...

I'm starting to appreciate the .32 caliber when it's matched up to the right cartridge. It's interesting that the news story about the Indian women arming themselves called for a .32.

Just happened to have bought a S&W 32-20 hand ejector 3rd change. Great little shooter. The only problem with the cartridges is availability and expense. I also own a Ruger SP 101 that allows me to shoot just about anything else chambered in .32.

I'm in! I really like shooting my 32 long hand ejector. To me it's the perfect size with a 3 1/4 barrel to stick in my pocket. I tried a 38 airweight and I couldn't shoot it very accurately, and it hurt too much to practice. What the 32 lacks in power I think it makes up in accuracy.

Sounds great to me. .32s in all versions have been my favorites for many years. I started with one, gradually worked up through the big calibers, and now am back to .32s and pleased to be here.

Count me in!! Previously, I only had a circa 1918 nickel Hand Ejector Third Model with 3 1/4" barrel in .32 long. Just picked-up a 631 with 4" barrel last week. Anxious to compare the .32 H&R to the .32 long. Still on the look-out for my grail gun!

I fell into the 32 magnums by accident. My good friend who just opened a gun shop had me come by and try out his newly arrived 631 4 inch barrel on his range. I instantly loved it, six shots, and not nearly the recoil of the 38/357's.
I now own probably 15 revolvers and marlins in 32 or 327 magnum!! The majority have been purchased for my three grandchildren, I have skipped the .22 caliber guns entirely!

I am down to five .32's at the moment, but have a serious question. Does anyone really think this is a wise thing to do? Here in my area, .32 S&W Long and .32 H&R magnum ammo is difficult to find and costly when I manage to locate any, and the guns that chamber these cartridges are pricey as well. This may sound selfish, but I see no real need to drive up the desire for the guns or ammo.

Let's just keep this amongst ourselves, shall we?

I had some .32/20's until I decided they did nothing a .38 special couldn't do with a bit more wallop at about half the cost.

Traded them both for a CZ 527 in .222 Remington, which I gave to my brother.

I don't have any S&W .32s but am somewhat supplied with semiautos
in .32 ACP.
Savage, Colt and Manhurin (Walther) are ones I have messed around
with.
