owner of my own company, Check Six Training LLC, I am proud to say that I am also a partner of the new company, Fantom Tactical LLC. My partners and I began Fantom Tactical so we could bring new safety products to the firearms industry. Our website has been confirmed, which is under construction, www.fantomtactical.com and we should have it running in a couple of weeks. Our product line will fit virtually any firearm, without modification, enhance civilian and L.E.O. safety, and be affordable. Stay tuned.
P.S. We are also interested in helping other people develop and bring new safety products to market.

That hotlink didn't work.

I'll be interested to see what you have to offer. Gotta support a fellow forum member if I can.

Congrats

The website is still under construction and will, hopefully, be (published) up and running in the next couple of weeks. Once the site has been published the link will work. We also have a video that will be released in the near future. And, we are planning to allow other companies to become dealers for the products as well as giving a 25 percent discount for the first 1000 sold. The best part is that our first product line should enhance safety for both the gun owner and the L.E.O..

Bro, Here's a business tip. Don't publish a broken link and post with spelling errors. You are representing yourselves, your company and your products and sloppy work doesn't sell well. Just a little friendly advice.

The name of the company is "Fantom Tactical" and I did mention

in the original post that the website was under construction and would be up and running in a couple of weeks. It might have been better not to post the link. Hopefully, the two week time period will actually be shortened.
In the long run, everyone should be happy with what we are doing, as our products are designed to increase safety for all gun owners as well as L.E.O.. In fact, being that I was injured in the line-of-duty and forced to retire from law enforcement, my partners and I are going to donate a portion of every sale to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
Thanks for the positive feedback.

Respectfully,

Scott Jens

UPDATE!

The web designer is building the website and once he is done we will be looking for people to be beta testers. The beta testers will be people that, after watching the video introducing our products, would want to purchase one or more of the products. The beta test is to ensure that the website can handle a large volume of traffic in a short period of time. I hope to release the video introducing our product line a few days before the website is launched. Anyone who wants to be a beta tester will be rewarded by receiving a significant, one time, discount off of the MSRP. Stay tuned.

Unfortunately, it is to late to change the name. Hopefully, what we have to offer will help you look past the company name. Thanks for the feedback.

Guys, they found a word that wasn't claimed yet, because it's misspelled. I used to pass a store on my way to work every day called "dis and dat" and it always irritated me. At least fantom is close.

That is exciting news though. I wonder what safety products they have that aren't currently on the market and don't require any modifications. I guess we'll find out soon enough

I think it takes awhile before the name is off the market if I remember correctly. But it is first come first serve so if you already put in for the domain name no one is allowed to use it.

The amount of traffic a website can handle is all in the server you use. More than likely, you will use a shared server rather than a dedicated server. Dedicated are normally used for large sites that have a lot of traffic like Bud's or Gunbroker. But too many websites on a share server will quickly cause collisions.

If your webmaster is supplying the server space ask what company he's using, how much space he's renting, amount of space he's allocating, etc. A person may rent 1 gig of space (1000 megabytes) on a server which has 100 gigs of memory. That would mean 100 other people. If he assigns 10 megs of space for your website, he can put 100 others on the same space. Total amount of websites your sharing on the same server would be 100 websites per webmaster x 100 webmasters. If you're planning on doing a lot of sales over the internet, my advise is don't go too cheap. Buy space with a limited amount of shared server space. It may cost you $5 more a month but you'll get a lot less 505 timed out or server not found.
