Not too long ago I ordered a Threeperson style holster for my Model 58. Since I was going old school I decided to spring for a cartridge slide as well. They came in today, and I have to say I'm very pleased with Lobo Leather. (picture is poor quality because one of my dogs ate the memory card to my camera)

Did you get the memory card back?

If he passed it, does he have more memory now?

In the '50's my pup ate a dime which was equal to over a dollar today. My mom followed him around and got the dime back.
Eeeeewwwww just the thought of it makes me cringe. But my mom grew up on a farm. A dime was a lot of money.

:confused:Well thanks, I guess./QUOTE]

What I meant to imply was my appreciation for your kind words based on your career as a lawman. Plus, you actually carried a Model 58 for some years.

None of that comes through does it? :D

LOL, That makes things a little clearer. I certainly wasn't offended or anything, just couldn't figger the basis of your statement.

There were more than a few that thought my totin' that big ol hunk of iron was silly, but it proved it's worth more than once. In fact being forced to replace it with a issue model 66 was a factor in my leaving LE and returning to the ranch.

A .357 is a wonderful cartridge, but it just wasn't a car puncher like the .41.

One of my prior lieutenants, who retired a few years ago after nearly forty years, carried a Model 57 back in the very early '70s. He has shared several stories about that old revolver over the years. For years I always thought, "why?", but I was stuck with issued semi auto HK USP .40s and didn't know any better. Fast forward and I stumbled into a very affordable 657 which started the .41 fascination. Now I load and cast for three of them and am trying hard to nail down a 3" 657. I carry the 58 more than any other handgun when off duty now, so it made sense to deck it out with some nice hide.

Scott, that is NICE, Ray does great work. I've been very pleased with the equipment I've received from him, and I'm looking forward to receiving my new order.

Outstanding! That new gun rig looks great!

Ray/Lobo Gun Leather is my "go to" guy for holsters and other gun-related leather gear.

Btw, nice looking quality leather.

Don't tell everyone that 41's ROCK.....MAGNUMS THAT IS,,,,,,,,,,
