My wife says that I display some of these symptoms in various situations.
- We share a safe where I keep my pistols and she keeps some of her jewelry. I am very "concerned" that all of the pistols are sitting "properly positioned" and undisturbed in their racks.
- I cannot walk past a drawer that in not completely closed without going back to fully shut it.
- Coming into the house, if I notice a branch or piece of trash that is laying in the yard... this causes me agitation until I go back and remove the offending piece.
- Every day I run a 2 mile course and have a streak going of 272 consecutive days (but who's counting?). I start getting antsy if I think that something is going to cause me to miss a day.
- If something sticky (like honey or jam) gets on anything I'm around, I can not rest until it's wiped clean and sticky-free.
- Putting on my shoes or socks, I must put on the left one first... otherwise, they just don't feel right.
I have no idea why she thinks of me this way. It's just normal for me. How about you?
