I just bought some .22 LR (CCI and Aguila) from Ammo Sports-N-More in Florida. They seem to be well-stocked. Prices are high but I can't find good .22 LR ammo anywhere else. Occasionally get lucky at Academy or Cabelas but it is sketchy. BTW, can anyone tell me if Aquila .22 LR Interceptor runs too hot for the S&W M&P 15-22? Thanks.

Unfortunately Cabela's canceled my order for 1 brick of 333 Winchester and 1 brick of Remington. They chose which brick/order to cancel; the Remington. Thankfully my brother ordered a brick of 500 Remingtons same day. I was surprised to see my order has been shipped.
This must be something new because I have had many orders filled with multiple brands on one order . As long as you only ordered 1 of each brand.

I guess if this is their new policy I'm going to have to be careful on my choice of brand if there happens to be more then one. Even though right now I'm in good shape as far as 22's are concerned, and only buy if it's a brand I really like. Unlike before when I would buy anything I could just to shoot.

So theoretically my $625+ in ammo and whatever shipping, still has hope for fulfillment.
I saw the email and was positive it was a cancellation, who knows if I will still get one.

I still find it kind of strange that I can go into any one of 5-10 gun shops within 50 miles of me and they have plenty of whatever I want in stock except for pistol powders, and .22 ammo. I can buy all the AR's and other hi-cap rifles and pistols I could ever want, and all the centerfire ammo, and rifle or shotgun powder I want. But no .22 ammo and no pistol powder. Seems to me something odd is going on and it's been this way since December of 2012.

I pretty much agree. I've heard and read all the excuses and reasons, and I understand many are possible and some are plausible, but still, I can't help feeling that there used to be A LOT of .22 and for 2 years now, there has been next to nothing at all.
Just makes you that much more likely to entertain the theories people sometimes put forth....

Yeah last time I bought .22 ammo was the summer of 2012, I could get the federal bulk packs 500 or 525 can't remember for sure for $14.99. Now the only thing I can find is Winchester 333 boxes for $19.99 and up.

The Win333 ($18.99 delivered) from Cabela's arrived today. Have not yet seen the $10 certificate... but they did include a $20 off $100 or more certificate. $20 off for ordering $18.99 .22LR.... can't beat that! I guess I'll be clicking the buy button at Cabela's once more.

Indeed! My dillon pumps out quality Bear Creek moly 9mm for less than most current 22 prices. Speaking of Midway I just placed 2 box order of federal target match at less than $17 per and hopefully I don't get back ordered eternally.

Midway came through: order placed this morn and shipped with tracking number this afternoon.
This is probably why .22's are not available.

I get emails when what I want comes in at Midway USA. Bought two boxes early this morning of 325 rounds Federal Auto Match. It has never taken my order if out of stock, and I never have backordered a thing. If it isn't in stock, so be it: everyone else beat me to the draw. I no longer stand in lines because of Midway USA. Never been let down before. Have a tracking number already.

its available....... I was at my local W/M yesterday grocery shopping with wife and both my boys, me and the boys went to sporting goods and almost fainted, they had 30 boxes of Winchester 555 bricks on the shelf for $27.88 ea limit 3. Called the wife to come over and left wih 12bricks.
