well the new 9mm shield and I made it to the range and I must say it is faulty and shoots to the left. Now I know all new guns shoot to the left.
Just kidding here folks, however it did shoot to the left and I thought it was my grip or trigger pull, in other words I thought it was me. I was impressed with the groups but they were left of POA. After seeing a post about the front sight not being centered I took a close look at mine and it was to the right of center. this would make POI to the left.
so i sent the slide off to have TFO's installed, I hope they center the front sight.
It was cold out and I only got to put 125 rounds through it, everything I fed it it ate up with out a hick up/

Who are you getting your TFOs from and what are they charging for installation?

I bought them from XD-HS2000 they were$ 105.00 all said and done. then you send them the slide another 8 bucks and they install them for you and send your slide back. just google them.

James at XD does a professional job and they are perfectly aligned. Excellent sights both in daylight and dark. Only thing I didn't like is letting USPS transport my slide. I don't trust them after a couple snafu's (not even one issue with UPS in over 30 years). He prefers USPS but can work with UPS if you'd like. Good luck!

Yes... James does great work. If you still shoot left after his install, it's definitely you... not the gun. :D

If you had a sight pusher tool you could have fixed that on the spot.

Tru Glo TFO sights are "Da Bomb"...I have a set on both my Kimbers. Love them...

I also had my Tru Glo's installed by XD-HS2000. Quick turn around and great job. And the sights are awesome!

I have the TFO's on the 40 compact and love them, I have the green and green and went with the green and yellow for the shield. The 40 has been my EDC for about 5 yrs now, but is a little big to conceal in the summer, so I bought the shield as my summer EDC. I can't wait to learn the shield like the compact, the compact has been with my through some great training and pretty much the only pistol a have shoot for those 5 yrs, needless to say we are very good friends.
Happy new year everyone and may all you holes be in the 10 ring!
