1 and 11/16" is the smallest group.

I was shooting at my targets today. Not for the match, but it was 7 yards and windy as can be with snow. My target stand kept getting blown over I did shoot some good groups.

These are 138 Button Nose wadcutters ahead of 4.2 grains of promo.

I didn't get to participate in Dec, looking forward to Jan challenge.

For January Snubby Match, WEAK HAND 7 yards 10 shots

Strong hand in your pocket.

I tried this with my Bulldog. WOW what a hand full.
I replaced the grip with a Pachmayr compac. It no longer bites me. I can shoot a box of 50 both hands with no problems.

Have fun!

Good move, wasn't it? :D

I have my 637 today. Going to a Sporter Rifle match tonight. If I get time before the match I will make my first snubby attempt.

Is this month double action, single, or free to choose. If I get time I may give it a whirl.

10 shots 7 yards left hand single action Laser sight.

I raise the bar. These are sweet. 865 fps from my 637 138 gr button nose wadcutter over 4.2 of Promo. These are capable of one hole at 34' from my scoped 357.

Left hand, Laser sight. That stinkin dot dances all over the place. I could hold the laser, but squeezing the trigger was tough.

The three targets on the top are from my model 15, I was sighting it in for the winter indoor match. I am going to try the Bayou Hi Tek coated wadcutters with 3.0 bullseye. The Hollow base ones smoke a lot compared to them.

This is a fun match.

Get out and shoot!

I tried to be a winner...but that ONE low round kept happening...

Nine shots in 1.65" but that one opens it to 2.52."

Repeated with the pre 27 @20:

Six shots in 3.86." Five in 2-3/8."

My shooting partner insisted on me shooting the remainder of his magnum ammo (brought along a 640PD), and I obliged.

It was fired in double action, as fast as I could pull the trigger. I was in a hurry to get out of there. "Minute of face" was my buzz term for the day.

All of them on one target at various distances. For whatever reason I get the biggest kick out of the 442 (as in fun) and shoot it just as well if not better than its bigger, heavier team mates.

Much of the blown out center is owed to the lowly 442.

I thought I had a tight chamber problem with the 22-4 as loading and ejecting would get sticky after 50 to 100 rounds. Turns out they all do that if you get 'em hot enough. Once cooled down it's back to normal.

A few shots from a buddies 340PD. It wasn't as bad as expected, but I would not want to shoot more than a cylinder full a session.

Shots made it into a roughly 3" pattern with the first shot hitting the bull.

I told the range guy that we were shooting loud short guns so it would be a good idea to keep other shooters away...yet they placed an elderly fellow shooting a vintage .22 rifle right next to us

Its 3.5" barrel, so doesn't count for the match, but I been shooting left handed all month.

10 yards, 10 rounds, left hand only, single action. 250 gr LSWC. It was looking pretty good for a minute. 2.745"

I just did this, but forgot one minor detail - that it was supposed to be shot with *just* the weak hand. Sigh. I shot them all two handed, with the left hand.

Shot two loads through my 3" 13-3, and one through my 642-2. Surprisingly, I shot my little jframe much tighter than the 13-3.

May get out and try again.
