INTERNET SNUBBY MATCH

I walked into the 34' range. Just 11 yards, I need to beat the one hole group done at 10.

I pulled my 637 out of the ankle holster and fired the rounds in it. Nuttin great.

Next I fire 7 HBWC with 3.0 promo. (red dot). These were good. I was hoping more holes could make them connect....

Thanks for getting me out.

This was done with my model 15-3 @34' with unknown 38 sp loads on a different day. Its still not a one holer.

You need bigger bullets.:D

Here's a few snubby efforts from yesterday at the range with a co worker.
No one holers anywhere. But damn, the LCR .357 really shoots with this PMC load for whatever reason.

More than normal snubby practice since getting involved in this match stuff. I'm shooting them as good as my bigger guns right now.

Great Otreb.

That is the idea, get to know your gun better.

For the bigger bullets, I have a CA Bulldog 44 special on order. 2.5" barrel.

I wondered if you were still doing this. After the holiday I'll be back!

***GRJ***

Me, too... Momma is getting a Ruger LCR .38. I just put a night-sight on it, and hope to borrow it and try that guy out in December. I'm thinking it'll be an early present... maybe opened before we get to the range Saturday.

:D

OK, I got my bulldog Tuesday night. Friday before work I went to the 34' range. I was shooting my dads reloads and the gun went boom.

No one hole group :(

it was a pretty good shooter. I started a new thread for it with pics.

So then, should we expect a Bulldog match, or maybe a 44 spl/mag match? I have a 4" target bulldog and a M624 in 44 spl and a Dan Wesson 44 mag..... :D

We will have a Bulldog or 44 match when I get squared away. I called charter firearms today got voice mail. Left a message.

We still have Saturday and Sunday this month. I hope to try again.

Just stick to the light stuff this time. I recognize the fervor to beat the Taurus, but holes have be made by bullets, not topstraps or cylinder fragments.:D

Seriously, glad you're OK and I hope Charter Arms can offer something useful in setting you up with a new Bulldog. I'm intrigued by anything .44sp, but never came across a Bulldog that inspired confidence.....I guess the newest ones look pretty good. I inspected two or three specimens on the 431 before finding the one I used this month. It's put together pretty well.

OK... I post this for the comedy aspects only... :D

I got to the range this weekend, to evaluate a different 200 grain bullet for my reloads. Well, I was pleased with this combo by hitting some bulls and knocking the center out early-on! I got excited, and was thinking "Gotta go 10 shots!" and this below was the result.

I couldn't have been more wrong.

* Wrong gun. a 1911 ain't a snubby.

* I DID knock the center out, but it was helped in part by the fact that I'd taped the bull with a piece of red duct tape.

* I just need to write this stuff (THE RULES!) down.

:D :D :D :D

So I look forward to December... and will try my dangnest to not cross pollinate the snub thread with the .45 thread. Post-it note to the forehead and a hand mirror, I guess.

You don't need to send me anything, I do appreciate the thought, though.
Its worth it for the fun and practice.
