Just curious what ammo you all are using in your Model 41's for:
bullseye competition
practice
plinking

Thanks!

My Model 41 will eat most ammo but will choke on American Eagle ammo. I found some Federal Automatch ammo and will try that soon enough.

CCI SV is the only thing on the menu:

My 41s ran perfectly with Rem. old stock(1990s) Thunderbolt. So I bought new T'bolt when the old was used up. New Rem. T'bolt is pure junk. So I now run CCI Blazer ammo in the 41s. All the stuff you hear about lead ammo and high velocity apparently doesn't apply to my guns.

My m41 and m46 both like the CCI SV amo the best with Blazer ammo being next. I have used the Wolf brand but its way too expensive in my market area here. None of the Remington will cycle properly at all in both of my beauties. They do NOT like any of the Federal brands as well. I suspect it may have something to do with the age of the particular gun as to what some will shoot and others won't. My m41 s a 1958 year build and my m46 is 1963.

I just got a 1970's model 41 and it seems to shoot anything I have put in it. So far CCI SV, Mini mags, RWS Standard + and federal bulk pack. The RWS is the most accurate, I usually shoot CCI SV as the price is pretty good for the accuracy.

All of mine love CCI. I use CCI SV and MINI MAGS. It loves MINI MAGS the best. It's like giving Popeye his spinach. I have learned federal is hit or miss.

CCI-SV. As has already been said, the gains from high-$ match ammo weren't worth it to me. At first I had to snip a few coils from the recoil spring to get it to run reliably but since then I haven't looked back.
