What is the worst Movie You ever saw?

I saw "Brokeback Mountain" at the theater. At first, I thought it was an interesting cowboy story. Then...it wasn't.

A friend of mine saw it too. After that he was always asking me to take a fishing trip in the woods with him, even though he had never been fishing and did not even own a rod and reel. I gracefully declined.

I would never watch it, even though it was on the cable lineup..
I had heard about what it was about, and refused to check it out.
As the Saddle Sores song "Ain't going down on Brokeback Mountain" says,
"it's on u-toob", that @#$% ain't right.. lol..

Time Bandits should not be in this thread. That movie is awesome.

We agreed no leader, right?
Right!
So shut up and do as I say.

Worst movie in a theatre for me was Suburban Commando 1991 with Hulk Hogan. The only movie I have ever seriously considered walking out of and only did not because I could not think of any other place I wanted to go at the time. I cannot recall anything about it other than it was awful.

Worst recommend by the experts movie was a rental the wife picked after hearing a glowing review on the radio. Title was something like Players or The Players and it was just pointless and I only managed to watch the whole thing because I kept thinking that if the experts rated it so highly that there must be some redeeming quality, but no, it was then that I learned the so called experts have no idea what they are talking about.

Plan 9 from Outerspace won the Golden Turkey award and it is so bad that it is hilarious. A folding chair and card table with a Gieger counter and a microphone as the control station for an advanced UFO and a hyper intelligent alien life form who gets so frustrated he can only say "you're stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid" how can you not love it.

Naked Lunch staring Peter Weller is one movie that when the credits rolled left me thinking, no, it can't be over yet, it doesn't make any sense yet.

Worst movie I ever saw...that's easy, anything with Pauly Shore, Adam Sandler or Will Farrel!!!!!

I agree about the first two for sure.. I can't stand any movie I've ever
seen those two in. But I have to admit to semi liking the "Anchorman"
movies that Farrel was in.. Or at least they were kind of funny in some
parts, in a obtuse kind of way.. :/

I LIKED TSOM......

Nobody has mentioned "Sound of Music"!?!?! I got dragged to that at age 12. I kept hoping they'd get strafed as they climbed over the mountain.

"Doe, a deer, a big, dead deer"

I liked The Sound of Music, except for being very inaccurate historically. That and the fact that Maria Von Trapp could be a very grumpy hausfrau. Their real story is much more complex and interesting than the lightweight TSOM.

PS: Maria Von T. admitted openly that she liked Georg but never loved him. She loved the children and says that she married them.

Does this look familiar to you?

If so you know bad movies.

Of all the **** they showed "Manos: Hands of Fate" may have been the worst, but it was still entertaining.
Fugitive Alien II, on the other hand, was totally unwatchable.

"The Pod People" where the kid befriends an alien elephant-person baby he calls 'Trumpy' but doesn't realize that Trumpy's mother is looking for him. Never mind the rock band 'campers' and the poachers.

The ONLY Wll Ferrel vehicle....

We thought 'Elf' was pretty good but hate everything else W.F. does.

I have always been the film buff in the family. I had a job in college running movies for our (then) local cable system and watched them so much that I knew the dialogue. Deciding how bad a movie is sometimes requires taking it into context, like comparing it to it's prequel.

Some movies are so bad that they are entertaining. Ed Wood's movies are entertaining to me. If you know the back stories, Wood's films are even funnier.

Arthur II was abismal, especially considering how much I enjoyed the first one.

Godfather III was painful for me to watch. Coppola's daughter made the film unbearable. I like a lot of Diane Keaton's films but didn't think she was a good fit in the Godfather trilogy.

Clint Eastwood ruined several of his movies by putting Sandr Locke in them.

I intensely dislike every movie I've seen with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it.

Wyatt Earp with Kevin Costner needed about an hour edited out of it.

Heaven's Gate....there's a prize.

JFK was just ridiculous.

Imagine Apocalypse Now without Duvall's scenes in it.

The "first all midget western" The Terror of Tiny Town.

The Smokey and the Bandit sequels.

The Exorcist sequels.

The Jaws sequels.

The Airplane sequels.

The Battle of the Bulge.

House of Dark Shadows.

The Incredible Two Headed Transplant.

Hot Rods to Hell.

Any movie with Elvis.

The Postman with Kevin Costner.

The John Wayne movie where he played "Singing Sandy."

Anything with Madonna.

The worst movies of the last decade would be anything with Jim Carey or Will Ferrell.

Regards.

Bob

We watch 99% of our movies on Netflix and sometimes my wife and I will say "Glad I didn't spend money to see that one."

One stands out in my mind from years ago my friend and I kid my wife about was "The Butcher's Wife" with Demi Moore.

My least favorites

I will start with, (From Hell it Came).
A Native is killed and buried but comes back as a walking Tree Monster that seeks revenge on those responsible for His death.
This Movie is so bad I had to find it to show on what I call stupid Movie Night for My Kid's.

Any movie starring Will Farrell, And the all time favorite "Mothra" and Mothra vs. Godzilla (1961)

Probably the original "Little Shop Of Horrors"

Jack Nicholson actually was in it.

Feed Me

I am very selective on what I will
watch or read.
Yesterday/last night I took a chance.
"The Homesman".....Tommy Lee Jones.
Terrible.

Three hours later......"Fury"
I wanted to kill a couple of the dudes
in the tank squad before they got whacked.

Last House on the Left, original ,70s version. Another couple and ourselves could not agree on what movie to see, so we opted for what we thought would be a good old scary movie. The only reason we stayed was we thought it just HAD to get better. It didn't.

Sliver with Sharon Stone. I thought a movie with her about a voyeur apartment owner had to have some "artistic" value but boy howdy, was I wrong. I was thinking of leaving the theater when the lights came on because a woman in the audience had a heart attack. I was never more grateful for someone nearly dying.

That is because you only saw it once.

Battlfield Earth- I got to see it free.wish I hadn't.
David Lynch version of "Dune"-the gang rape of my favorite book.
Star Wars episode 1"The Phantom Stinker"- "George Lucas has to **** somewhere!"
