Need help. Anyone installed the Talon Grips on their Shield (with a Crimson Trace LG-489 laser)? During installation, did you encounter any difficulty with the laser's activation button located below the trigger guard? I would like to buy and install the Talon Grip on my Shield but need to know if laser's activation button is an issue during installation. Thanks.:o

I can't specifically answer your question but I have the Talon rubber grip on my 45C. They are very easy to alter with a sharp razor or scissors before you peel the backing and start the installation.

Thank you NCavi8tor for your insight regarding this subject. If need be, then I will modify the Talon Grip as you have suggested. I hope the rubber once cut or trimmed would not cause any further tearing in the long run.

Hello brnie65,

I have that exact setup and have encountered no issues. I can't remember which I installed first, but the laser works like a champ and I love the grips.

Hi JG,
You are the first member with this set up that I heard from. I love my Shield with the CT laser in it too and can't wait to install the Talon Grips. I was told it is in the mail now😄. I will give an update later. Thank you JG.

Finally received my Talon Grips from the mail. Installation was easier than I thought. The grips are perfect for my Shield. Love it!Shield.jpg

I have the M&P shield 40, I installed the rubberized Talon grips first and then my CT laser over them. The Talon grips are very thin and cause no issues with installation or operation of the laser. It is a very nice setup and looking forward to the range trial.
