Well you NE fellers have yelled so much about getting all the snow the weather man sent an inch to Ks last night. It is now early afternoon and is almost all melted.
Perhaps if you prayed for melt rather than no mo snow it might go away. But then will 8 or 9 feet take until June to melt?

But aren't you folks known to normally get a lot of snow in the winter?
Never been to Colorado, friends have and loved it.
If you ever came to our coastline in the summer from Rhode Island all the way north up to Maine. You would love it.
Almost forgot, and the beautiful State of Vermont.

The winters are usually mild down here on the prairie,but once you're above 7-8000' ,it's really winter.

It was -6 when I got up this morning, spent most of the day on the roof shoving. You would think after watching that video I would warm up. Nope still frozen, it was worth a shot though.
Our (Minneapolis) snowfall is 13.5" below normal, and the snow cover is a scant 0-1", the exact opposite of last winter.
It's supposed to get down to -10F on Wednesday night, with a -29F wind chill, but that's not really a big deal.

A couple of years ago it was around 17 below on this date. Today it was 55 down at the gun club, I was down to one sweatshirt and very comfortable. Drove home with the window down, on the street a couple of little girls were playing with a ball in the street in shorts...we have had an amazing year so far, broke all kinds of records, warmest February on record.
