My Brand New 640 Pro.

They cover the backstrap; I swapped 'em out pretty fast for the fish scale boot grips.

Scroll down to the second photo to see what they look like:

Gun Review: Smith & Wesson Model 640 Pro Series - The Truth About Guns

I didn't think much about the Review author's conclusions about the M640 Pro.
Overweight and underperforming girlfriend, indeed!
It weights just the right amount for a steel J frame snubby.
When I want the skinny model, I will pocket carry my M442.
As far as performance goes, it makes no pretensions about being a 5 inch M627 PC, etc.
But, it is my kind of revolver for every day carry. In the afore mentioned Lobo Pancake.

Best,
Rick

I posted it for the pic. ;)

>>Hap,
Looked at your pic. My grip is a lot smaller than yours. It IS the same pattern as yours, just not as big. Wanna pic?<<

What kind of question is that? Of course we want to see the pic.:)
