What does your wife carry, and how does she conceal it?

My wife carries a Sig P238 in one of these:

Dene Adams Corset Holster

It's slightly more of a "deep concealment" option and doesn't offer the quickest draw ever, but with practice she's gotten good at it. It's hands down the most comfortable option for them.

My last wife (yes, yes, I've had several) carried an AMT Backup when I met her, in her purse. She probably still does. We also bought her a used M10, 4", heavy barrel as I recall, and she hid that in the trunk of her car (she was always worried about being kidnapped and thrown into the trunk of her car). I'd wager that M10 is still there......

My wife just picked up a S&W 642. She's carried a semi-auto before, however due to some physical issues, she has an issue with racking the slide. So, the 642 solved that issue.

My wife has been carrying the 642 in a Sneaky Pete holster, but now she wants an OWB holster, so I'll be looking into getting her one soon.

My wife carries a Sig P938 in a built in purse holster. She loves it, but now she's nagging me for a compact 1911 style 45. Her birthday is coming soon..........

My wife has her CHL and carries a old model S&W .357mag Model 360 with Hi-Viz sights with a 3" bbl. It is so light you can't hardly tell it is a handgun in her purse. She has a purse that has a side compartment designed for handguns and it open from the front.

Yes she can shoot it but I put .38 Plus P in it. I shot it with full bore .357 mag. I would compare that with "Shaking hands with KING KONG !!!"

There are some Youtube vids.....

I've seen some vids made by women that carry and they point out the pros and cons. I really like the idea of the bra holster, except that that LEO shot herself while adjusting it. The girl that demonstrated showed how fast it could be. I'm not planning on wearing one because I'm a guy. I also like some of the 'underwear' type but you'd have to have several sets. I couldn't wear an ankle holster if you paid me. Of course after the incident with the child grabbing the gun in the purse that kind of carry has to be well thought out.

I see many mentions of sticky type (a.k.a Remora) holsters. I think they work well if your gun isn't too heavy. I feel like my 9c is too heavy for them. I have tried them with the 9c and I didn't feel like the gun was secure. Tried them with a much lighter P938, and it felt a lot more secure.

My wife does not ever carry, and she conceals that very well. I hardly ever know when she isn't carrying. One day she asked me if I could see where her gun wasn't, and hard as I tried, I couldn't. Oh, she's good.

I'll bet you couldn't even tell where she wasn't carrying it if you were to...er...oh, never mind...

I bought a Remora for my M&P 9c when I got one for my wife's 642. It works great! Won't have believed it if I hadn't personally tried it.

My wife has several options, including Gun Tot'n Mamma's purse, Flash Bang bra holster, Cross Breed holster for IWB carry, and a undertech tank shirt. They all do a great job of concealing her LCR.

A firearms instructor asked a woman friend of mine, "Will you have your purse in your hand or securely on your shoulder all the time?

When she thought about it the answer was, of course, that she would not.

Like Rusty and his wife, I question the idea of off-body carry. But it's a shame that it's so much more difficult for women to "dress around the gun" than it is for men. The Remora video left me with the impression that only a very, very small gun would really conceal well in some of the outfits she wore to demonstrate it. (No, it was less obvious with the shirt over the bikini.)
