Hello
I was driving a few days ago and saw a newer Mustang Gt
convertible. The car was beautiful. Got closer to it and noticed the license plate.
I was driving a few days later with my wife and was telling her about the plate on it. I look up ahead and there was the Mustang again. The plate reads Small One . At that point I was sure that it was probably a small lady driving. Nope, it was a guy. We were laughing so hard that I could not stand it.

Sooo
I walked into the DAV in FLORIDA..about 20 years ago
I wanted a personalized plate that I had grown up with.

It was a unique series of RANDOM letters and numbers that my Dad had had on a series of cars since around 1960:eek: He jus kept transferring the plate to the new car.

I filled out the form.. and the lady behind the counter sez.." What Does That Mean?".. So I told her it means nothing just the same plate that my Dad had in NEW JERSEY..

She looked and calmly told me that I could not have it because " IT WAS ALREADY ISSUED:eek::eek:"..

I explained that it was issued in NEW JERSEY.. but she resisted and told me to go ahead and submit it but it would be denied..

Oh yeah .. I got the plate:cool:
Dad passed about a year later and it's been on all of my cars.. :D

I've had several over the years. When I belonged to the hunt club I had OCHC...(Old Church Hunt Club). Being a NASCAR fan, I had RDE3RCR for a time...(Ralph Dale Earnhardt 3 Richard Childress Racing) During my bass fishing days I had "Sldr Rig" on my truck...(slider rig) and LZRD Rig on my boat trailer. Both are types of bass baits I like.

On my motorcycle I had...

Years ago I knew an instructor who put GUNS on her IL plate, and had nothing but trouble. One lady beating on her car shouting how her son had been killed.
Another fella had CC and 7. Leo's were stopping him all the time and he usually had had to many.
Another had 38 SUPER and had no trouble. I guess most folks didn't know what it meant.

Back when I was an avid mountain biker, I built my own bike from a bare frame using individually picked components. I even had the wheels laced up from individual components.

Since I had such a nice bike, my ridin' buddies called me "Poser."
At the time I drove an '86 Tercel 4wd station wagon with a Yakima bike rack on the roof and a 6 disc cd changer. For fun I got custom license plates that said, "POSER-1." I also had mountain bike related stickers in the rear windows.

It was a great car and I sure miss it. Hated to let it go but the front differential blew up and the only repair was to get a whole new transaxle assembly. Instead I used the money on an '87 Toyota 4wd truck and put a Thule fork mount bike carrier in the bed.

I was in the lottery for JAGUAR and FERRARI. I lost. Later I thought about KAR120C and XK120, but they were already taken. When I move to Nevada, I'll see what is available.

See if any smart guys can figure mine out :D

I one read of a white VW Rabbit that had IM GONE.

I dont like to advertise but I've thought of hiding in plain sight: 458 LOT. Think about it.

Means .458 LOTT cartridge. Unfortunately 458 LOT will already be taken by the normal plate numbers...

My favorite personalized plate was about 30 years ago in Calif.

RU4MEQT (Are you for me cutie?)

They got an entire question in 7 spaces.....KEWL

I remember an old Archie comic. He was gonna get one that said SUPERDUDE, but they only allowed eight characters, so it came back SUPERDUD.
