I had never seen a 325 Thunder Ranch before and was surprised at
how heavy it was when I first held it.
It has a Scandium frame , hence the 325 model designation.
But the barrel and shroud and tensioning nut are steel.
As is the cylinder.
The front sight blade is interchangeable and it has
all Performance Center internals.
This one is made in August of 2012 so, just 3 years old now.
The shiny barrel coating and dull frame and cylinder do not
make for a pretty gun at all.
But this one is function before form to be sure.
All business.
I have no tolerance for that rail on the bottom of the barrel shroud
so luckily it comes off and gets stored in the pouch it came in.
It joins my 325 P.D. a true light weight in the 325 line.
Made in 2005 these are few and far between.
I would much rather have an Air-Lite in 45 ACP than any other caliber.
I swapped the 325 Thunder ranch grip onto it to give something to
hold onto when shooting this one.
A Governator has to be included as it just does such a good
job of shooting 45 ACP as well as the other calibers.
The grip frame is a K-L round butt on the Gov.
By far the prettiest of all the Model 25 45 A.C.P. revolvers is the Case Color
Performance Center model.
Woah.
I do not shoot this one.
A 625-6 in 45 Auto. Mountain Gun.
The performance Center 625-7 . I am now training with to
shoot the local P.P.C. match.
Just a 625-3 , modified for carry and shooting.
My own conversion. a 625-3 Mountain revolver.
That's it for the A.C.P. revolvers for now.
Good Luck
