OK, I know Lee was being funny, but please don't get one of those ridiculous badges. They are just a problem waiting to happen.
Hello again Terry,
I said from the beginning that I've told no one but my wife and it was actually my wife's recommendation for me to CC and she would tell no one!
I have agreed on more than one occasion with everyone who said "Tell No One" and I have told no one!
So what are you saying, that I should not have posted the question?

Who those people may have told are not the people I feel I'll have to protect myself from when I'm in public and a random druggie decides to shoot up a store.
?
I will say that my circle is very small. I'm not talking dozens of people. I'm not even talking 5's of people (if that's a thing). I'm talking a few in-laws and a couple friends.
At work, several co-workers have mentioned they have their CCDW and I've had no problem mentioning I have mine. We've discussed types of weapons, manufacturers and pros/cons of different guns (Shield always wins, btw). I've never had a problem with it being blurted out inappropriately.
To those who keep it a closely guarded secret, I don't understand why. I don't advertise it, but I don't hide it either. If the subject is brought up, I don't evade, I don't hide. I don't brag, but I don't deny either. I see no reason to, with the people I'm talking to.
My wife knows, my children know, my in-laws know, my friends know. Who those people may have told, I don't know, but I don't care.
I've given it a lot of thought since then. I don't see the reason to keep a secret, just to have a secret. I don't see a reason to keep this secret. Concealed means concealed, true...but who are you concealing from, and why?
