Sometimes a 65 with 3" barrel OWB with a Simply Rugged pancake holster. The 65 rides high and tight to the body in this holster. Conceals great wearing a one size larger shirt untucked. It doesn't feel as comfortable IWB as my Glock 19 does IWB.

K frame for me most of the time.

To the OP:

I carried a Glock 23 and decided to switch to S&W DA revolvers exclusively for carry. After a lot of research and thinking about my personal situation I decided the revolver was the best choice for me. I routinely carry a 3" 65-3 in a Wraith IWB holster by Seth's Gun Leather. I love it! I've carried that gun 12+ hours without any comfort issue, and that includes sometimes spending a few hours driving in my car. My cover garment is an untucked shirt.

Here's my gun:

And here's my gun in the holster:

Great looking grips. What are they?

I'm in the N-Frame crowd

These 3" N-Frames are my main summer carries.

I carry an N frame round butt 325 AirLite 45 2.5 inch in a FBI forward cant pancake with no snap. It is lite and kicks like a mule but is accurate, fast, and concealable. I carry two reloads in speed loaders. One is always in the strong side pocket of my jacket so it helps clear the coat when drawing. The holster (open toe) allows me to carry my other N frames with longer barrels as I deem appropriate for the occasion.

I just wrote about my plan to switch from J frames to K frames. A 2" K frame would be ideal and it can go IWB or OWB.

Not to be a smart-aleck but that now you see it now you don't is an excellent example of how to hide a gun UNDER A COAT. What happens when it's 90 degrees? Some folks can't wear hip length outer garments in warm weather - what then?

That is only semi-facetious because I can hide an OWB K frame under a vest any time, in hot weather, as long as I dont try it with a waist length vest.

Been carrying a 4" tapered barrel "N" frame for nearly three decades. A variety of holsters including a Bianchi 5BH, a Safariland equivalent of the Bianchi, several pancakes, and I am currently waiting on a Brill type for special occasions.

my EDC is a de-horned parkerized Colt Agent, with an added S&W Chiefs if I foresee the need for a quick reload... but if serious social work might be encountered... a 4" S&W mod 29 worn cross draw in an clam shell...like many others have noted above... this poll presents limited choices either by accident or design which prevents me from entering it.

I usually conceal carry a government model 1911 in urban areas. I often conceal carry a Glock G20 SF 10mm in remote rural areas. I often conceal carry a 4" Colt Python .357 magnum or 4" S&W 29-2 .44 magnum in the woods.

I'm considering putting this L Frame on my CCW license.

I have a pocket holster for it made by Mika. Only works with big pockets/cargo pants.

I'm also considering 5.11 holster under shirts

Big, but nice and light at 19 oz empty.

Specifically, Ahrends Tacticals without finger grooves (if anyone's interested in them ;)). Congrats on Cocobolo -- it's one of the best looking woods on a revolver, and Kim doesn't offer it anymore.

What size revovler

I do carry a couple N-frames just because I can.
One is a Model 27-8PC 8-shot, or 27-4. The -4 is easier due to the shorter cylinder.
The other is a 29-10 with PD ammo in it.
Of the two, the 27 is a better choice, really.
I also carry a pair of Pythons or a pair of 586 revolvers. I can easily conceal them under a light jacket, including business wear. I prefer the 586's.

re: your inadvertent magazine ejection problem. Don't give up on the Glock or other auto just because of that. I worked for an international security firm for years and we were taught that small adjustments can overcome such problems. It could be no more than a better belt that does not flex.
Slightly move the holster location.
Change the type of holster. A paddle holster can be slid back or forward in small increments to make the needed change. I currently use a Safariland ALS paddle for my Colt GM that is almost impossible to drag off my belt, but that I can place for no problems on anything I wear.
Work out a movement in and out of your car such that this does not happen. Once you figure it out you'll find you can do it without thinking.
