How Many Will N O T Be Watching the Super Bowl?

i'll be watching and rooting for Peyton Manning and coach Kubiak. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the old thoroughbred Manning doesn't get hurt and has the stamina to make it across the finish line with one last victory.

I'll start out watching it and hope it's a good game.

Grounds too wet to go out and shoot this weekend.

My team is out (Steelers) so i have no dog in the fight
but i do Love some Football. College and Pro.

Maybe it's the closest thing we have to a bunch of Roman
Gladiators going at it. Knocking the snot out of each other
for 3 hours.

Can't watch baseball or basketball any more.
But Football i will watch if nothing else is planned
for the day.

I'll watch whatever is left of it when I get home from a USPSA match tomorrow. The match is 100 miles away so it depends on what time it's over and how traffic is coming home. I don't get much football watched (or NASCAR for that matter) since I have a match just about every Sunday. More fun too (IMO)

I didn't even know who was playing until a couple days ago!

I can't remember the last time I watched an entire game. Two years ago when the 'Hawks won, there was a running commentary right here in the lounge, and it was highly entertaining!

I can't remember what year, but once I recorded it, just for the commercials. Actually, one in particular. The Coen Brothers made a commercial for H&R Block, and I had to see it! I FF'd through the game.

I won't be watching.

I think the last one I watched was '92 or '93 when a bunch of us from the singles group at church got together to watch. We didn't get past the half time show and switched it off.

I will be in church, I may go to Walmart or even Home Depot. But instead of watch the Super bowl. I can watch a movie with my wife, or reload some ammo, finish a book I have been reading.

I hope those that will watch the game enjoy it and drink responsibly and don't drive.

i havent followed sports for a loooong time.......all of the players i admired are no longer in the game.....

Just curious because l will not. I am not a Pro football fan.
Me neither. It will be on at my house - 'cause my wife is a huge fan, but I won't be paying any attention to it...
Though I might watch the halftime commercials - some of them are usually pretty good...

My wife and I....

I'm a Rugby guy ....... :)

...we watched Rugby in an Irish pub last night and enjoyed it. There were a lot of interesting aspects of both the game and the development of Rugby vs. American football. I think the most important thing I got was that nobody wears pads. I'm thinking that the abundance of pads have given football players a license to smash each other to bits which may be why we have so many injuries.

Anyway, back on the subject, I don't plan to watch it, but we usually catch some it in passing. I really don't like the Panthers, though.

There is a remote possibility that I might be in the same room with a TV tuned to the game but I would be there strictly for the snacks... ;)

Haven't watched the NFL since the '90s...

I plan on but there's a good chance I will see but a few minutes.
I am not a football fan and only watch one complete game a year. Have not done that yet.

But instead I might.
burn some limbs
eat
nap
takes photos in my lightbox
work on the car
work on the mower
build a cart to pull behind the mower
or..............

The wife and I will watch as long as the Broncos are winning. We both like Peyton Manning but despise Scam Newton and the Broadway dance productions he puts on in the end zone.

The perfect Super Bowl for us is Denver winning by 24 points and Scam being carried out of the game with one of his feet pointing the wrong direction.
