"Better Call Saul"

I really enjoy this show. Mike is someone to behold...someone so fierce, but so kind and loving to his daughter-in-law and granddaughter. And Saul, what a guy. Very well written and produced. I am very impressed.

Regards,

Dave

We have not missed an episode. This part is worth seeing again but I don't want to put a video on there that may spoil for the people that haven't caught up. -> The "Squat Cobbler" scene at the police station is on YouTube. :) My wife and I were crying when we first saw this.

Recall that Bob Odenkirk (Jimmy/Saul) was a writer at Saturday Night Live during what I consider at its funniest which was late 80's early 90's.

Great show, but why can't his brother be around anything electronic?

He's supposedly allergic to electromagnetic fields. It's unclear to me whether this is real or some imagined illness. There was one episode in the first season that seemed to indicate that it might be real. Or not. His character is otherwise lucid and very smart.
Great show. I like it almost as much as Breaking Bad. Almost.

I really wanted to like BCS. I've watched some episodes. Maybe expectations too high after BB. I've got the DVR set to record the series. Maybe on rainy day I'll try again. I did like the guy that was freaked out over EMF. Funny stuff.

If you're looking for the excitement of Breaking Bad, I think most people would be disappointed. But I think BCS rivals (or exceeds) BB in character development and depth.

I believe it's a psychosis.

In any case, I enjoy the show. The second season is better than the first, IMO.

I love the show too. For people in the first season, continue with it, it just gets better and better. The first season is mainly setting up the dynamics behind the characters and the second season the story gets going. They are slowly introducing BB characters. The season 2 Squat Cobbler episode was just about one of the funniest scenes I have ever seen. John and I watched that section at least three times because we were laughing so hard. Brilliant writing.

Big fan of it also. I was very concerned when a very long time went by (a full year, at least, I believe?) and no season 2 yet. Relieved in the biggest way when it finally started. Also a huge fan of Mike.

It's coming! Believe me. It took BB two full seasons to gear up. I believe the same type of action is on the horizon. Wait 'til Jimmy actually becomes "Saul" and Mike is working for him.
