building ammo reserve

As far as stocking up on M855 is concerned, remember that the .gov tried to get it banned once already as armor piercing even if it did not meet their own definition of armour piercing. Picking up a can or two at the current price of about $0.50/rd may not be a bad idea since it skyrocketed to over $1.00/rd when the BATF was playing their games.

During those times, I just opened my closet and smiled while looking at those 4 50 cal ammo cans full of M855 I'd bought before anyone cared about them.

I'm thinking about buying a 3rd safe just to keep my ammo in. It's worth several guns already.

Gotta admit, I'm stocking up on reloading supplies that I use when they become available, on sale helps, and I have some extra cash. Especially powder that was so hard to come by for a while. It's like money in the bank.......

Fortunately, my go-to grocery store also sells ammo in the most common calibers.

An extra box of this one week with shopping, an extra box of that the next- and before you know it, you have a 'stash.'
